Travel Ambassadors

Travel Ambassador Team Trip

What we did first:

We were firstly greeted by 2 ladies at the entrance of the room. They gave us a booklet and a laminated sheet of paper which said ‘Edmondsley Travel Ambassador Team’. After, we started to stick pictures on a notice board.

What we did second:

Secondly, we heard a speech from the Mayor of Durham and Police Officer Ron Hogg. Finally, we got another speech from Paul Watson, Head of Road Safety Manager.

What we did third:

We then heard 3 travel safety poems by Bernard Young. One was called ‘Lady Lolly-pop’, one was abouyt a referee and the last one was about being stuck in a traffic jam. All of them were very funny. Then, we wrote a poem ourselves. It was about being safe crossing the road.

What we did last:

Lastly, we had a huge buffet. There was lots to eat!

Thank you, remember to stay safe.
